cracked windscreen FML. How much £££££

Changing my wipers the other day I made a schoolboy error of leaving wiper arm up by itself it has put a huge crack in my windscreen  anybody ever had one replaced if so how much did it cost.  Many thanks

only costs me £80 for new window screen.

My only prob is its not insured atm but will be next week so may see what insurers will say if happens next week by some odd accurance

has it got MOT? Cracked screen is a fail.

think it costs between £200/300

Yeah has now got mot. Wow that ain't cheap, I can get a screen second hand for £40 but needs to be fitted properly as its bonded

I paid £75 through my insurance for a MK4 screen a few months ago, it would have been £250 without insurance.

Looks like il do it through my insurance then does it matter how it happened because it was my fault for being an idiot tbf  :embarassed: fingers crossed it'll be sorted

few months ago i paid £50 through my insurer, autoglass came and done it  would highly recommend them if you get choice !
