Olympic torch
« on: 27 June 2012, 16:11 »
Just got back from my charity run following the Olympics torch on its route from Louth to Wainfleet in Lincolnshire. Travelled through 10 villiages maybe. Covered approx 20 miles since 0800 this morning.

I'd never run a long distance like that again. I'm in pieces. Proper f**ked!

Plus side I got a pic holding the Olympic torch...One for the grand kids

We raised over £600 from just carrying 2 buckets between 12 of us!! The charity was for a local school kids playing ground. This was my first proper charity thang...I quite enjoyed it  Think I'll be do some more 'stuff' for charity in the future.

Very sun burnt, very crampy, very tired. Thank god I don't have to be in work til midday tomorrow!

Back to bed! :lipsrsealed:

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
