What 1.8t engine are you using?
Please put a AGU lump in as they the easiest and in my opinion the most reliable. Less to go wrong.
1.6-1.8t AGU K03s, Forge actuator, Forge 007p, turbo back exhuast, Ths front mount, Catch can, 5 piece silicone boost pipes and creation sports tip. Stage 2 atm 232bhp 270lbs. Waiting for custom mapping :-)

why not just buy a 1.8.

firstly youle get a better interior than the 1.6

secondly you wownt have to pay as much for insurance cause youlle have to declare it as an engine swap which costs more for insurance than a standard car

thirdly your not going to have to buy an engine and pay for somone to put the engine in

1.8ts are cheep enough as it is. obvious choice if you ask me

i think he is taken in to account that his bodywork is in very good condition so makes sense that way but the 1.8t's are dirt cheap at the moment and the cheaper ones are quite rough imo

i drive a golf thats why im skint!!!!

losing interest in the golf and now not so skint !!!!!

looking at AGU Jamie - from what ive read over the big debates people have on numerous forums this is the way to go i think.

i cant find nothing as tidy as mine, plus i cant find a decent one in the same colour - at the end of the day its a project mcgee9t2 its going to cost more on insurance whatever i do to it. In regards to cost of putting the engine in, my brother can do it, just the wiring i need help with. in regards to interior, im not arsed that will get trimmed up at some point and you want to see how clean my interior is.
ts something i have had a long think about dude! thanks for your views though.

cully - you know what im saying man

You might be better to get a complete car cheap and then swap everything over as required.
