I'm sorry but removing a badge from the likes of a GTD GTI EDDIE R ect ect in my opinion is just madness...if you did remove it, it wud just look like a GTI wannabe...(badge less grilles scream boy racers to me)

It's like someone not having a badge and putting one on just so they look like there possible quicker, if you get what I mean...

I mean come on...the badge is there for a reason....

and the badge probably adds 5bhp, so if you remove the VW badge and the GTI badge you'll be down 10bhp, think of the ponies!

......or the BMW drivers with the 'snails pace' models, going for the rear 'badge delete' option, pretending to be something they're not....

Just looks odd to me
Current: GTI Edition 35 Candy White 5dr DSG 19" Glendale, RCD510+DAB, Dynaudio, Storage Pack, Parking Sensors

Gone: Edition 35, GTI Mk6, Edition 30, GTI Mk4, GTI Mk3, GTI Mk2 and my favourite the UR quattro
For those that dont know DSG is an electronically controlled dual-clutch multiple-shaft manual gearbox
