Bye bye hosepipe ban!!
« on: 25 June 2012, 22:53 »
First time I've personally washed my car since the hose pipe ban has been lifted!

Feel so much better doing myself, as you don't miss bits! Anyway, here's a pic

Will probably be the last time the rear end will look like that, as I'll be getting my parts back from the Bodyshop soon!!

it depends which area you are in and which water company provides your supply.

Anglian, Southern and Thames water companies lifted their bans from midnight on Wednesday after recent heavy rain which significantly improved the river levels and reservoir stocks from where they take their water.

South East Water, Sutton and East Surrey Water and Veolia Water Southeast have also confirmed that their hosepipe bans will remain in place due to low levels of groundwater.

well you see the Polish chaps, and me... we rely on this thing called valeting and detailing as our major source of income... so if we can't wash cars because we can't use any water then we end up homeless and hungry and then.. well, we die

Valeting companies, such as myself, were exempt during the ban. I could, legally, come to your house and use your hose and water for washing your car... but you couldn't
