£200 MK1 Cab for sale around the corner from my house

[Bronze MK1 Cab]

Went and had a quick look at it yesterday on the way home from work. It's showing a W reg, but with a clipper kit on it. It's an auto too. The roof is really bad, no seats and the bodywork was tatty in places. The clocks were showing 93,000 miles. It just didn't seem to add up to be a W reg 

It's in a garage and the guy selling it wasn't there, so couldn't get much info on it. I'm tempted, but might be biting off more than I can chew

strip it and ebay it! the clipper kit would fetch a bit on it's own.

The kit isn't in the best of condition though. The back bumper has a massive crack in it.

It does make sence to strip it an e-bay it as you said Adam. Might ring the guy tonight, there are a couple of other people interested in it though.

Lol at Dinx, I've been thinking off buying it rolling it down to my house and just putting it on the drive. It would be too late for the girlfriend to say no then

  Velly knows all to well the hasstle I had the last time we bought that Golf to break 

The garage said that two other people were interested, so it might have gone. I might give the guy a ring tonight to find out some more details.
