Alternator workshop??
« on: 24 June 2012, 18:36 »
Hey guys.

Just drove round to the girlfriends and got this message on me display. The power seemed to reduce and the battery light was on as well, only lasted a few seconds and seems fine now. We've had a lot of rain in this area today.

Anyone know why this message appeared?
Is it anything to worry about.

Cheers.

Poor cable connection, or damaged cable.

Could be alternator.

Could be a very bad battery.

There's a few it could be from up above. I'd first check the cable from the alternator, then battery, then alternator itself.
