Take one blue tonneau cover and one tin of flexy red vinyl paint and the first coat is on, one to go :cool:

Lots of driving around Brum done, Vento front end got, bonnet fitted bright yellow ouch, headlights wiring won't fitted without harness adaptors £18 a pair, two grilles and one genuine with badge sweet, headlights already Joey'd sorted, passenger wing to replace dented one with repeater deleted great, in yellow ouch, nearly finished US Spec style front bumper nice one. Not a bad day really.

Fitted the rest of the Vento front end, just wings and bumper to finish.

Yes, but more body mods and the finished car will be done in Porsche Carrera White so will be done when mods are finished :wink:

My to do list for the Cabrio

1. Replace front low arms, Coilovers and Slam plus get the tracking done.
2. Convert rear drums to Mk2 disc's
3. Seat Cupra R 4 stud 305mm front disc's, Boxster S front calipers and adaptors.
4. Negative camber front and rear, roll arches.
5. Fit new drivers wing and flush out repeater hole.
6. Plastic weld in exit exhaust moulding into rear bumper.
7. Get Mk3 and Mk3.5 bootlids, cut top off both and combine so it has high level brake light but fit to Corrado spoiler motor so top lifts at 45mph!!!
8. Fit Cult Society flush number plate bootlid handle.
9. Import Optikwerks side skirts.
10. Off to paint shop for full respray in Porsche Carrera White and Black windscreen frame.
11. Alloys - possible staggered 7.5 front and 9 rear.
12. Red leather retrim.
13. Black dash and passenger airbag.
14. Red lite switches
15. Black carpet
16. 24valve 4motion engine and twin exit exhaust with Porsche RS teardrop tailpipes.
17. Choons!!!

Fitted the US Spec front bumper today, ok it's not finished but the rest of the bodywork isn't yet so what the heck!!!

Need a new splitter as my VR6 one is to short, so lift the one it came with on, also found two brackets that will work for my floating number plate. Need to primer and tidy up around the marker lights, but all in all you get the idea.





Hoping to sort the distance between bumper and tarmac at the beginning of next month when my imported items turn up :wink:

Very rarely does a mk3 cab come on here and get tarted, something different, nice progress so far.

A few more items have turned up to fit over the next couple of months.



Febi lower wishbones uprated with R32 rear bushes, Bonrath anti roll bar bushes, Eibach front camber bolts, Plastic filler and fine stopper plus an invisible aerial.



Corrado spoiler motor, relay and switch.



Main light switch with front fogs and 100w yellow fog bulbs.



Washer jets off a Chevrolet RV clipped on to the wiper arms with the washer pipes feed behind the arms.
