Popping out of gear

Car has been making a clunking noise when you drop the clutch after reversing for a week or so, it is now becoming a little stiff when shifting fro 2nd to 3rd and back again, and also pops out of gear from time to time!

Any idea's?  Hope its not gearbox, I am  thinking it may be the gearbox mount as I hit a speed bump at quite some speed just before the problem with the clunking started!

I reckon you want to stop reversing for so long..."after reversing for a week or so.." Sorry couldnt resist it!! What about gear linkage as that transpires often as a difficulty in engaging gears????

Mine doesnt clunk but does make a sort of whine which is a bit worrying

Mine is doing this and I think in the long run its a new gearbox. I sorted mine by draining the oil and putting the best synthetic geabox oil you can get and I adjusted the gear linking. I dont recomend you doing this beacuse it took me ages to get it right.
