Hi guys. My 1st question on here and its one that has been asked before but I hope mine is more of a head scratcher.

I have a wet back foot rest on the passengNer side only. Its strange but its only in the far back end of the foot rest. This makes me think its not coming from the pollen filter. This did leak a few months ago but I had it fixed.
I took the door panel of and that's all dry inside and I don't have a nipple bellow the door arch so cant do that. I checked the seals on the door and they look dry or ok. I had a look to see if the water could run from the front door but can see any wet areas other than the floor in the back. If any one feels like a swim. my car is available...
Its a
mk4 golf
no sunroof.

Thanks
Come on Daz

lol..no I don't have a sun roof. Would I need a new filter housing ? or silicon around it to stop water getting in ?

is the door seal on the shell intact ? sit in the car and get a mate to hose the area you think is leaking , you should then be able to see where its coming from
