But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

£8k is waaay too much to spend on a tv... but my current tv is just too small. Do I wait.... or should I just get a new one  :undecided:

Samsung es8000 ftw Just bought it and all i can say is Epic!!! i got the 55 but i believe there is a 60 also .... Like jay says couple of years and OLED will be cheaper... I remember seeing sonys 7 inch oled screen lol that was like 2 grand just for that!! nuts min!

my mate just got the samsung i think... very nice tv, but whats with the 2 remote controls  :huh:

1 remote is just a normal remote the other is a completly touch remote is has a touch pad and a microphone for voice commands Its pretty cool i must say Last tv i will be buying for a long time!!!

At 2.5k... im not surprised!! but with oleds not far away, I think i will probably decided to hold off. The only thing that can tempt me away is probably....

The sony is beautifull to look at i have to say my pal has it.... But sorry to say the samsung on full Hd looks far more sharper But the sony is still nice... 
If i was you i wouldnt be holding of for OLED mate as it will still be a while before a 55 inch OLED is even 2.5k bud
