My mk3 16v mods

Hi guys looking for a bit of advice on my mk3 16v..........

Hoping to free up a liitle money soon so wondering what thefirst mods should be...........

Bearing in mind that it is alrerady lowered on some unknown springs(will change later to coil overs), Milttek cat back and thats it.

So was thinking decat? or panel filter? or even start on the handling, strut braces and polly bushes?

So may questions, but Im sure some on here will have opinions 

Was looking at a later date at a lightened flywheelm to.

Loving being back on the VW scene, so much cheaper than Jap

Decat is a waste of time, panel filter and cold air feed is a good start, lightened flywheel is also worth going for.

Flywheel is very recommended   

Plus you can do your clutch at the same time for good measure

I doubt if there is any benefit from the decat apart from the weight loss.

Same with the panel filter just buy a new standard one. If you want to go down the panel filter route you really want to smooth out the inside of the airbox, fit a larger bellmouth inside, and smooth out the inside of your throttle body.

The lightened flywheel makes a noticeable difference.

Eibach anti roll bars and polybushes tighten up the handling, but before you start on this you may want to consider trying just getting your alignment set up properly.

Good brakes and getting the handling sorted will be cheaper and make more difference on a limited budget than trying to release power from the engine.
