Cut a few inches off the end of the pipe then you shouldn't have any problems with water getting sucked up. My filter sits just under the headlight bracket.

Well normal rain puddles are fine, but we have all been at the point where a road has been pretty flooded and has a few inches of rain across the whole road. And there's no turning round... When I first fitted mine, it sat just at the bottom of the bumper, and I am lowered a lot, so about 3 inches off the ground. Better safe than sorry eh?

There was a guy on here who went through a deepish one and sucked up water and his engine got hydro locked.
