have found a 0.5ct diamond ring. colour is F and clarity is VS1 which i think is a good rock?

it's set in platinum.

Thanks Jay for your support!

Setting is good but it will get very dull over time so will require polishing every 2 years or so, what metal is the ring itself??? With the rock try and go 0.50ct but get at least VVS2 or VVS1. F is good as well.

has no body made a crack about the other type of ring yet?  :lipsrsealed:

You mean the thing with 4 wheels and 4 rings, well that probably would of been a better investment than a woman to be fair. Its also pretty much what I've told my misses too, I'd rather put 4 rings on a car than get her one.

Depends on the weight of the ring, cut of the diamond and what certs it comes with but with the details you have I would say no more than £1350 if it's in pristine condition.

Haha, the pestering will come sooner or later, I proposed several years ago in the lamest way (I don't even remember when), now shes been bugging me for a wedding several years down the line... and she likes the look of Danson house with a bunch of other venues. Doesn't stop with the hints either, I been getting the venue brochures sent in my name, thinking its something useful in the post for me

How much is it valued for insurance???

Round brilliant is the most common but not the most expensive so I would say you now looking at £1200 tops.

What does your missus REALLY want though coz that makes a lot of difference as well, my missus brothers girlfriend already told him that she wants a princess cut diamond wit VVS1 in a platinum claw and a yellow 18ct gold, he's looking at £3500 as a minimum
