If in doubt, pay someone else to do it!

Dont think my early mk3 has a water spray atall, if it does it aint workin!
My wiper doesnt come out of the window either so maybe il be able to get round it.
Rear polo handles sounds like a good idea. Will they just swap over or will i need to do something if im not using the locks?
Do i risk removing my armour plates though?

from what i understand the handles are just a straight swap. If i were you i'd check behind the plates before i spent any money.

The Haynes manual says the door handles are removed by removing the bolt on the door in the door shut, put the key in the barrel and unlock the door when it is open and that will release the door handle from the mechanism along with the armour plate. Then remove the right hand side of the handle by pulling away from the door??
I wonder if it is that simple? I doubt it
I think locating the locking barrel back on the rod inside the door on installation will be the hard bit.
