Crashed out of Le Mans unfortunately, despite the driver's attempts to get it back up and running to the pits - it's not like he didn't try:

Was gutted for them crashing out, it was also a shame the Toyotas crashed out leaving Audi to walk home with a 1,2,3 with a fight.

I think it was a rotten bit of luck that the Deltawing was damaged. You can see from the video that there's really nothing he could have done - an outright (unintentional) sideswipe from the Toyota. IMO though Toyota should be given - or at least Toyota's driver should be given - some form of penalty. One set of commentators pointed out that the Toyota driver in question wasn't that experienced. Granted the Deltawing was difficult to see but it doesn't look like the Toyota driver was concentrating too much on what was around/behind him - just on passing the cars ahead of him.

Erm, the Toyota driver was in an LMP1 car. The commentators should have thought about what they were saying as you dont get to drive such cars without reasonable experience . As for a penalty and not looking what he was doing, I would suggest you look at some drivers eye view in car footage as you just cannot see out of these cars at the best of times and the deltawing has a very low profile. I didnt see them penalising Alan McNish last year when he trashed his car due to not seeing a bright red Ferrari .

"Racing incident" happens all the time, if you don"t want your car to get scratched, then don't race it!
Bet they're all back next year

Hope so - it's a great looking car.

Want to see them at the N24 next year.

It is a great looking car, and no doubt it'll turn up in the American LMS shortly if it hasn't done already.

I just have an awkward feeling, that it may find itself in that predicament again :lipsrsealed:
