Harlequin look!

Tempted to buy another mk3 to make it the Harlequin look KINDA!! for summer next year. my plan will be over the months buy different colour panels and put them all on. and do something to the interior to. i might not even lose any money on the project as when i buy a panel i can try sell a panel from the car
each side of the car will have to match ie red front door either side, blue at the back, ... yes going 4 doors.  Bumpers i can spray easy.

anyways am i crazy or could i pull this off? with a nice stance i think it be a fun summer car.

Don't harlequins follow a special pattern depending on the base colour, I think there was 4 different types,

Was something i was going to do a year or two back. Never did, it's still something i would love to do but won't as i'm going to sell it.

I say go for it, there is one build i saw in Scotland which is the best ever. If i can find it again it will defo be an inspiration!

This is all you ever need to see when it comes to building an Harlequin. If you can make yours half as good as this then you have a real nice one

Go for it Mate they are well cool do a one off in your own colours or get a base car to match an original base colour and copy the panel pattern from one in that colour

Thinking use all original vw colours from other mk'3s so will be like Harlequin. then get the seats done and steering will (cover lol)


just debating to use my current mk3 and buy a gti or buy another 1.4. ahwell all will start after the summer.

Use the 1.4 the blue is one of the colours you need isnt it? And your cups will look cool on it.
