Bad Paint Job
« on: 14 June 2012, 13:03 »
Hi

Basically I got my mk2 from my brother (for free ) and I wanted a sort out a few things, mainly the bad paint job on the left hand side, the owner before my brother must have sprayed with a can its its really patchy, and matt, rather than smooth and shiny on the other side.

Any ideas how to sort it out?

I couldn't manage to upload an image, so here the link

Sorry for the awkward angle

Thanks

Nothing you can do other than flat it back and re-paint.
Classic Green Corrado VR6 Storm | Jetex Cat back | BMC CDA | VT mounts | Bilstein B12 | 288mm front brakes | Mk4 rear brakes | Goodridge braided hoses | BBS RX228s | Shortshifter | Lupo wipers | Uprated headlight loom | All red rears | Refreshed leather | Fresh paint |

Hmm, I'll give it a polish with a rotary and see how it goes

Thanks
