Spray on cleaner/ polish stuff?
« on: 13 June 2012, 19:07 »
Hi just wondering whether anyone has ever used the spray on and wipe of cleaners?

Only reason I ask if that it's inters soon and I will wash it before I go up on Friday but when im there I won't have a bucket so was thinking of getting some of the stuff?

Any good? Whats the best one to use?

Sorry if this has been asked before  :embarassed:

Thanks

Either get a fold away bucket and wash the car again or buy a decent quick detailer.

I've used meguiers ultimate quick detailer, it's pretty incredible and keeps your wax layer topped up for a while too.

I use it to give the car a go over after i've washed and dried it to get rid of any streaks. and if the car has just been washed and it isn't too dusty then it'll be fine to use. I would strongly advise against it if there is any dirt/dust build up on the car though as spraying it on then wiping it off, even using a good microfibre cloth, could leave swirl marks and tiny scratches.

Hope that helps.
Wouldn't be fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?

Quick detailer would be good as long as your car doesn't get too dirty. If you get noticeable dirt/grit then that won't cut I don't think. ONR is good, Guy uses it so must be credible. Cannot remember what it stands for but google ONR

Did think when I saw the advert (the one with the fords) that surely any dirt or anything must scratch the paint work?

Plus my car is black so will show up any slight mark lol

I'll just let it get dirty  will just give it a good going over on Friday
