Best 18" tires for GTI MKVI?

I've heard excellent reviews on the P zeros, but way too expensive.  I've been using the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 for ages now both on my GTI as well as on my previous 170PS GT (MKV).  Have been extremely disappointed on the ContiSport as well as on the Pirelli something [can't recall the type, it shows you how good they were].  Basically the ones both my cars had on when i bought them were total crap.

Anyone with any good tips?

Goodyear Asymmetric 2, recently fitted 4 to my GTI, super tyres and £130 a corner.

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's.

Seriously, these tyres should not be dismissed due to their brand name. No more Michelin PS3's for me.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
