Wheel offset Mercedes monoblock's
« on: 10 June 2012, 22:10 »
I would quite like some 18" Mercedes monoblock's fitted to the golf but with adaptors and all I think the offset will stick out too much?

18x8j with offset 31 + adaptors

Anybody know if they will go on?

P.S I did read the sticky about offsets and ET but it's all gobbledegook to me

Not worth the hassle to make them fit

Offset is too low to run adaptors, et31 with 15mm adaptors is going to be around et16 which would be lots of work to get them fitted.

Yeah I worked it out as ET 11 with 20mm adaptors  :undecided: really like flat face wheels with dish/rim and these would be perfect in VW fitment

Mercedes wheels are available in many different widths and offsets.

Could always re-drill according to wheel inner face, then you can lose the chunky adaptor needed behind it

Are they a straight fit or with adapters?

Surely it would look messy as there is no centre cap over the bolts and holes?
