whats everyones recommendations for the best filter for a 1.8t

If your looking for a straight replacement it has to be the green cotton filter for me,

If you want a bit more noise, go for an induction kit, I got a ram air maxflo, no complaints

ive had mostly k&n, pipercross and green over the years in my 206 gti and focus, but they were induction kits, looking for just a panel filter

What are the advantages of just changing the standard panel filter for a Green Cotton one ?

Less restrictive, So are supposed to increase airflow.

got my green panel filter today. only difference i can tell is you can hear the DV louder. otherwise no difference. If i was you, i'd go straight for the carbonio CAI, thats what i'm gonna go for next
