Glad to hear you've many happy miles in the GTI, tbh I thort it was another thread about jumping ship so I'm glad you haven't...your be more than happy with the GTD, nice spec too bar the manual part LOL...

Do you think your map her? I know others have asked but don't think you've answered...

TBH i think i may miss the DSG most of all as it really is excellent but having a manual means the missus will drive it so i can borrow her
car when i need to tow my fishing boat, dont ask me why but she will not drive the DSG.

As for mapping i have never really thought about it - is it worth doing in the GTD as much as in the GTI??

Yes it's definately worth getting her mapped, the Doc is the best man for the GTD, your easily see over 200bhp, can't remember the torque figures but I know there good also...

Good on you. Get some pics up of the new ride when you get it.

Mines done 40k now. Been thinking about changing part x'ing for a fully loaded carbon demo ed35 at a local dealership. If the monthly payments were pretty much the same I'd be tempted.

I'm very sorry to hear about your transformation to a Dieseasel (sorry GTD fans, he he )

Are you sure we can't keep you here in the sweet petrol section, us 'petrol'-heads probably don't have much long left in this world, make the most of it !
