Sort of got my drivers side window working, the motor was disconnected, reconnected it, and motor worked no problems, but still no window.
Looking at the guide plate discovered it had been cable tied at the top, removed them and the window goes up (no problems) and down after a fashion.
I'll try to explain futher but with out the technical names I'm finding it hard to discribe.
The guide wire is not connected to the liftingplate, the window rises because the joining bolt hooks up against something in the lifting plate. When going down the bolt drops rapidly but the window drops under gravity.
I would assume that the bolt (or some other item) should actually be attached to the lifting plate and therefore pull the window down in the same fashion as it raise's it.
Is this correct? If so how do I connect it up properly, will I have to remove the guide rails and window to do it?
