Being an LED you could just rotate it until it lit up correctly?

I've recently bought 3mm for my Golf switches, makes a big difference and seem to be just as bright? Gives you a little more room? By 12v LEDS and then no need to wedge in a resistor too?

i sell these at work, ill get the part number for you tomorrow. pretty sure you can just replace the bulb, its a 286.

bulb end on them are to long so it wont let me push it all in and twist it in.

I've pulled apart a fair few mk3 Golf clocks and have never seen that particular type of bulb.

BTT...  They are not for the clocks they are for the climate control panel. Try to keep up...

Oh sorry, i just caught the photo of the clocks and bulbs lined up and assumed they were from them.

You might have to try some of the specialist electronic suppliers like maplin or rs..

your a star mate. thats the bulb that i have but it dont say whats the name of the bulb eg 509T. main reason is because i want to change it to red from green
