Hi Sim, even though you have asked the dealer not to wax it they may still inflict some marring or marks when the remove all the transport wax and any any other pre delivery seals and sealents so i would inspect the paint finish closely.
Once you are have got the car home i would rinse the car with a pressure washer or opened hose to make sure it is clear of any grit or heavy soiling before washing the car with a lambswool wash mitt and if possible using the 2 bucket method, i.e one for wash soloution and one with plain water in to rince the wash mitt between panels.
After washing and giving the car a rince down i would clay the car to remove any bonded contaminates from the paint work, i would then rewash/rince the car to remove any residue form the claying process. Dry the car with a drying towel before applying a couple of coats of or wax/sealent of your choice.
Stand back and smile at a job well done
