turbo?

Definatley, this people love there corrados, there mk3s.
Not everyone can afford a golf r.
But then again, most people on the forums would buy a mk2 over a new r.

Hardly comparable, are they?
Like a factor of 10 apart in price. 

Ive ready info online about adding a turbo to a vr6..... But they dont mention the cash you need to spend on upgrading your brakes........ Thats another 800 quid gone.

Maybe you should read some more...then go speak to people that own them.
Brakes...
Suspension...because £200 Joms aren't going to cut it.
Gearbox...another £1000 for a LSD and rebuild.
Wheers/tyres...

Very fast cars once built...but how well it puts the power down, or corners, will be the difference between doing it cheap and spending proper money.

im thinking bout vrt the cl as i think it would be the first cl trim'd and badged vrt going (correct me if im wrong) and considering iv rebuilt it twice as a 1.6 i think shes worthy of some money now lol

1.6 to a vrt? I think you may have missed a step.

na il get a vr donor for running gear engine gearbox ect then start the transition put it as a vr for summer then strip it down over winter turbo and rebuild

erm.... probably about 2 months lmao..... however before doing the arp rod bolts the the bearings where checked an found one that he wasnt happy with, 20 mins later a van arrived with new parts..... git bag, fortunes of having your own workshop and trade accounts i suppose

  probably but its all worth it for a golf and as said before i wrote about this on faceyb and got told to buy a skyline with the amount of money im chucking into this, my reply was f**k getting a skyline u see them everywhere but a turbod vr with 1.6 badge u see nowhere i dont want big jap toys i love my golf too much
