vagcom near Cardiff

Hi

Recently purchased a 98 se golf tdi non pd, and would like to know of anyone or anywhere that I can take my car to get it checked via a vagcom in or near Cardiff. Its not showing any lights on or anything, but would like to see and double check all is well. will give it a service, but would like to check what oil would be best to use on a non pd engine.
