Ebay performance chips?

What do you guys think about some of the performance chips offered on ebay? Are they any good?

is one example i found but not sure how good they'll be in my 91 mk2 8v ?

If i have this correct, all they do i is over fuel the engine slightly, since the ecu only controls the fuel injection and nowt else.

I suppose you would get a richer mixture, and maybe some unburnt fuel which could mean a pop pop blat exhaust when you lift your foot off full throttle.

Anyone else have any more info?

there suppose to remove the lag between you putting your foot down on the throttle and the system being fed the fuel not the amount its being given.

Feedback seems very good, and a return policy, you may lose a couple of quid returing it by registered post, but that's bugger all! give it a go.

I wonder if he does a mechanical one for my 16V :)

I wonder if there's one to sort out my fueling as I turned up the wick on the turbo ;)
£30 or £500 for the remap :D
