Samsung Android Phone book pairing
« on: 03 June 2012, 18:35 »
Guys & girls please help

We picked mrs ginge' cab up yesterday (pics to follow), all is good but I can get her phone book to sync with the Bluetooth. The system works other than that but it just keeps telling me that there are no phone book entires. Can anyone help?

Yeti tips went on a treat, and I'm really pleased with them and she's loving the car but this little issue is doing my head in!

Maybe they are all in the sim and not in the phone, or vice versa? What Samsung is it, I have the Galaxy S2 and it works ok, apart from the numbers on the RCD510 are jibberish yet on the MFD they are all ok. Weird.

Samsungs tend to be the only phone I have problems with when pairing customers phones up. They pair fine but can't download phonebook.......if some one finds a setting on phones that need changing i can make a lot of customers happy people.

Sorry to (sort of) change the subject but I have a late 09 with the rvd300. Am I right in thinking that Bluetooth won't work with this? Tried so many times and my phone just won't find the heady it when I run on the bluetooth. Again, sorry to change the subject

It's a galaxy ace, so I really don't understand it? I'll have a play later and if I fail than vw technical will have to offer assistance.

Just had a little google and it seems a few have issues with vw bluetooth and samsung phones, particularly the ace, apparently there is an rsap app for them meaning the phonebook can only be used from the sim, tis an odd one mate tbh.
