Carbon engine bay?

Could you carbon wrap the plastics in the engine bay or would the wrap peel of under the heat?
Golf GTI ... What else would you have?

I reckon some bit would peel of other wouldn't.

you could wrap resevoir caps and similar, but not your rocker cover  :shocked:

parts of the bay that generate heat will make it peel off as i found out  :wink:

thats what i did to just got to start the polishing now and painted my bottle covers gloss black
