Hi guys thanks for all you replys I am angry more than anything to b honest, the only evedance that I have against him is that he was pissed that nite and at 2 in the morning he got out of bed and shouted I am going to kill mike then trys to hit my ex then goes for a walk for 1 1/2 hours then goes back home now it took my 40 mins b4 to walk from that house to mine so it could b possible and for the fact that wen my ex found out about my car she phoned me nd sed I think its my dad but that's the only evidence I have. I phone the police and they sed Ahh well with the bank holiday and queens jubille there isn't enough resourses to b able to send police out I mean I am not taking the piss or nothing but fu** me.

Mate, If thats the case, Ring the police back and record them saying "can't be arse to help you cuz the queen is more important than doing our jobing serving the public which is infact what we are paid to do" Sell the story to the local papers which will give you some repair money, A very close friend of mine owns his own restoration garage and Im certain he can get your car resprayed for a half decent price too if you buy the paint and pay for the laybour (off the books ofc) but if you know its him, going back to do his car will just prove your as low as him, id have much more satisfaction saying Feck you mate, cars all fixed and still better than your pile of crap!

I know mate I ain't going to touch his car because first of all its obvious and second of all I would never touch anyone's car coz I have mre respect than that and I love cars so he will pay for it but the legal way. I just hope the police will do something when I phone them again tomoz if they don't then I will b going further with it I don't deserve to have my car done over then nothing get done about it. If I was to rub the paint down ready for spray how much do I think it would cost?

you could get a cheep over the top spray which shouldnt cost too much. my mate had his done for around £5-600. and unless your changing the colour i dont see the point in going to bare metal, just wasting time taking off colour when you can go over it fine imo (but im not painter so could be wrong, however his looks spot on)

bare metal one your going to be looking at over a grand proberbly.

however if you scrap the car/split it you will get what £500 or so and be left with a load of unwanted parts that noone wanted on your drive, your then going to have to go out and buy a sh!tter with that £4-500 and then take a trip to the scrappy with all the left over bits and take £100 or so proberbly. ide rather keep the golf and try get it fixed. get a repair pen or a can of laquer and go over it to stop any bare metal rusting for the time being then get it fixed when you can, thats what ide do. or if your old and luky enough to have cheep insurance and can afford a claim then go through insurance.

It isn't insured atm lol, the thing is I don't have that sort of money and I am going to do my plumbing apprentiship in September so can't even afford a car atm I was hoping I may b able to get 500 for a full engine conversion then my mate is having the suspension for 60 and the wheels for 80  then I may b able to just sell the window regulators headlights tail lights smoothed bonnet and smoothed rear then just weigh the rest in at the scrappy for like 60 quid then send my tax back that is 80 so I ain't sure what to do atm its all a bit confusing lol
