Help! Is this the wrong bumper??

Hi does anyone know if this is the wrong bumper for my Mk1 gti? I just noticed the other day that it was rubbing against the bodywork and a bit of rust has appeared. If this is the wrong bumper does anyone know how I could get my hands on the correct one? I've tried salvage companies and had no luck so far. Cheers.

It looks like a small bumper off a Mk2.

Not completely sure if its the same, but heres mine to compare it too, sorry about the size!

I'd agree with ricky.

you can pick up a new bumper from eurocarparts for about £30.

Mmmm... last time I took a bumper off a mk2 the mounts were horizontal - mk1 bumper mounts are vertical. I would imagine it's from a later mk1 cabby or caddy even.
