New coilovers issues

Bought a brand new set of jom coilovers everything went on fine but on passenger side im getting alot of postive camber which is munching my tyre on the arch ... Ive got a brand new set of wishbones going on over weekend anything else that can cause this ? Worn top mounts ? Thanks again guys for all your help

The camber is adjustable in the two bolts that hold the coilover to the hub....if its the same as a Mk3 anyway which I assume it is.

Yes there are mk2/mk3 coilovers thanks alot il give that a try

Ok now is the best time to fit all new bushes. Wishbones, track rod ends and ball joints etc.

Adjust the ride height till you are happy then get a lazer 4 wheel alignment checked/adjusted. They will adjust the camber.

Prices vary from £30 - £100.

You ALWAYS need this checked/adjusted when you remove the front suspension.

Its not the tracking its the camber on passenger side thats way out could some one confirm jom coilovers have camber adjusters on them

Almost all new suspension gives this issue. Once you fit the new wishbones and bushes etc. Take it to a specialist alignment centre and they will correct this camber for you. You can losen the top 17mm suspension bolt and push in the top of the hub so it sits straight and tighten the bolt again.

Chances are the tracking is also now out.

Fit the new stuff and have the camber and tracking adjusted. Will cost you less in the long run
