yeah the grommets stick out like nipples on a cold day haha

mine is colour coded type spoiler looks like part of car

did consider having my wiper welded up but i didn't want no filler on my car as at some point it always sinks and then looks bab

fair play and that is you prerogative. but i just like the non spoiler look. i like the shape of the car more without it. as lets face it on a mk3 gti 8v there is no need for a spoiler. it does not serve a  purpose so bye bye

this is mine i just got a Golf 1.4 so never had spoiler but im not a fan of the spoiler. i like the rout you are going to take i too need to smooth mine better how is this done tho? i have some P38 filler would that do it??

I'll up load a pic of my vr in couple of days. Smoothed wiper and vw badge and no spoiler. It needs a vw badge I think but it does look nice. Been like it since the 90's and hasn't sunk or anything. Must be down the the bodyshop

what do you mean by smooth it more? if your on about the wiper hole then no p38 wont do you will need to weld, if you on about smooth the lones on the bumper then you could use p38 but plastic filler would be better

lones on bumper? what is this you talk off, but yes was talking the wiper blade hole where i'v put the rubber bung.

yh the wiper hole will need flatting and welding, just filling will not work. if you dont want the weld it you could hammer the raised bit flat, then get a piece of metal thats bigger then the hole, then bond that bit of metal behind the hole then fill over that. this way would work but is only a bodge, welding FTW

ah i like your bodge job idea, but me and hammers don't go well i'm best of leaving it as it is hahaha.
