How the hell do you turn the rear wiper off, without turning your engine off??

Mine is move stalk away once and it works- move stalk away again and it stops. Annoying thing is if you hold it too much you get screenwash what you don't always want

I couldn't turn mine off, so in the end I just removed the rear wiper lol

Took mine off soon as i got the car but i found it annoying how i couldn't use the rear wiper with out spraying my back window. unless i was doing something wrong lol.

But as said it's the indicator stalk. Push it or pull it.

How difficult can it be to gently double push the stalk forward?

mine is once to turn it on, then when its on once more to turn it off. its like an on off switch theres no secret sequence or anything Cant see how the stalk can be broken if it works to turn it on then it should work to turn off?
