My Anni's MAF was f**ked a few months back. Unplugged the sensor and it worked as it should, but obviously you should leave it unplugged. I bought a brand new one which in the end was just over £100 direct from VW.
Car runs sweet now, no more retarded juttering which make you feel sick!
