one other thing?? my dash shows up the milage when the keys arent in but as soon as i put the keys in and start her up it jst says 'cerr' and then flashes to '--------' ? any ideas?

Sounds like an ecu fault. It should only flash when the oil change or service 1+2 are due.

Sounds like an ecu fault. It should only flash when the oil change or service 1+2 are due.

There is a way to reset the service indicator without plugging anything in, do a search for the procedure and try that first to see if it clears the fault.

Just spotted it's listed as a 1.8L, so must be a G60 block

look at the engine spec though its mental
