Been doing some quotes with the insurance companies suggested on here such as Adrian Flux, Brentacre, HIC and ive been getting quotes of aroun the £800  mark.
I did a quote on 2 comparison web sites (meerkat and gocompare) and both of these sites gave me quotes of between £500-600 (and £12,000, yes 12 grand )
Im still to get a quote from Sky Insurance which i wil try and get round to later, but im not entirely convinced with these specialised insurers.

£800 isn't the best then really. I'm 24 with 4 years no claims got my renewal coming up soon so am holding back from mods atm just in case I have a spike in premium. Otherwise sad to say bye bye Golf!
