you will need the head gasket for the 2e engine as the bores wont be right otherwise.
gasket set for mk2 head. (is it a digifant your building?)
cam belt for 2e engine
i think you need to use the mk2 fly wheel and clutch co of the starter and gearbox.

keep us posted on how you go matey

If any of you MK2 GTI digifant owners are trying to get around the dizzy problem, i've got a new Bosch 2E/ABK dizzy with the bigger gear and base, ideal for a digifant MK2 GTI 2.0 conversion.

I'm in N.London and i'd want 45 quid - 55 if posted

Doesn't the standard mk2 GTI dizzy have a smaller base and gear than the one needed in the 2.0 block?

If I remember properly, the 1.8 GTI has a smaller base and gear than the 2.0 needs. Double check me but to get around this you need to buy a spacer ring and a bigger gear - TSR can supply them.

I've got a 2E dizzy because i was going to use it for my MK1 2.0 conversion but i didn't do enough research and found the 2E dizzy doesn't have a vacuum unit the k-jet set up needs! You don't need the vacuum unit on the digifant system because it's controlled by the ECU.

The wrong fecking dizzy cost me 90 quid! So i'm trying to flog it to scrap some money back! lol!

Oh, i'm new to the forum. Thought i'd sign up today
