Weird and Worrying....

the height isn't the only problem in my garage. the back bumper is about 3 inches from the door when its down so it would hit the door on its way up (and get wedged into the door no doubt and mean i can't roll the garage door up and cause a frisking massive headache!)



just reminded myself to let the baby nowhere near my car key!

A couple of weeks after getting our brand new Discovery 3 (about 7 years ago) I remember my dad loading it up with the garage door closed, boot open. I walked in the garage, hit the garage door open button and got the door wedged on the boot...in the end it didn't even mark the Discovery boot but the garage door still has a couple of battle scars! The Disco was a tough car!

Side note...we have a 2004 focus, and until ford changed the radio  () our windows genuinely used to open themselves when parked wasn't impressed!

I think you might be able to as I have seen a mod done on the Eos which closes the roof using the key

.........just make sure your a good distance away before you put the keys in your pocket else you could leave it unlocked without you knowing.

Have you tried seeing how far the remote works from?

Mine can easily lock / unlock the car from 400yards. Possibly further but I've never tried.

If you stick the key to the side of your head its even futher Try it !!
