I've heard that it doesn't lubricate well mate.  Guy i work with fooked his Nova TD using it.

So you would/could use it as an additive, like redex, rather than using it all the time? I thought that as it had no lubricating properties that was a good thing as it 'cleaned' out the entire engine?

Nope, you need a form of lubrication, otherwise you'll eff up the fuel pump, like US aviation fuel JP8 does to just about everything the UK military use when working with the Yanks .  A fuel additive normally means you use them often, but I've only used about 5ltrs in a 3/4 full tank (70-100ltr tank) as a one-off just to stop excessive smoke.  And for you to 'clean' out the entire engine, you would need more tools than your tool store has!!

What does all the GSE run on? I just make a phone call when it empty!
