What bank account?
« on: 22 May 2012, 20:05 »
I'm looking for a bank account to put money in whenever I feel like it to use as a non spending, savings account. I want it to be free, no monthly fees for having it open, and have a card available so I can take money out if I wish to.

Currently I'm with lloyds tsb, with a silver account.

Neither of my savings accounts with Lloyds charge me, but neither let me have a card - so I transfer money in / out as needed. Won't that do? :undecided:

Yeah it could do actually. Do you have it linked to the current account?

Yeah, both linked with my current account and show up in the online banking site and takes 20 seconds to transfer the cash.

Yeah that'd be fine Jay. Just looked on my account and had a look at some saving accounts.

I don't understand the difference between esavings and cash ISA saver though  :undecided:

Ah I think I understand.

Cash ISA doesn't require you to pay tax on anything below £5,640 in a tax year. I'll pop into my branch tomorrow and speak to an adviser.
