Hello from Sunny Bristol
« on: 21 May 2012, 20:51 »
Hi everyone

I am new here, the main point of joining is my brother got a new car and dumped his MK3 Golf GTI on my drive and now I have a GTI as well as a 1.4 cl Polo.

The polo is bionically melded to my heart and mind so the golf is going.  I can't bear to sell my polo after the work and time I put into her.  She looks like a banged up old heap but shes running like a dream.  It is quite nice to see two blue N reg dubs sat on my drive though :).

Happy days.  Anyway hello all and if anyone wants a MK3 GTI....It's going cheap on the sale board.
Its a '96 Polo and its a GTI in my dreams...
Waking up corrects me, however I love her just as she is

This is the Nessa Car, my 1.4 polo CL.  I bought her off my brothers mate for £100 a year ago and she has served me faithfully and reliably and just got her tested for another year.  Her undersides and sills are keeping well and other than a little surface rust on a wheel arch she is in pretty good shape.  She now has 2 green doors as there were window problems in the original ones and I basically keep her running with bits from my local scrappie.  I love her and can't imagine what I do when she goes

This is B3. The GTI Golf colour concept.  My brother abandoned this baby on my doorstep in a poor, filthy state.  Thankfully with a little hoovering and polish I finally got her looking like a real golf again. Though I do like her, my heart belongs to the Nessa and after fostering B3 for 2 weeks I feel she should find a permanent home with someone who will love and appreciate her.

I have sold the MK3 GTI but I sold it to a very lovely man who is very much into his VW's and he goes to a lot of shows.

I am happy knowing B3 has gone to a better home who will give her the TLC she deserves

Still got the polo though.

Thanks to everyone for the welcome
