Fitting vdo gauges

Well I've got some vdos and don't really no where to mount them I've seen the Sterio blanks and some look sh:t so wonderd if anyone has used something else or a good quality housing :)

And a votex console is out of the question I'm not paying ed38 prices cause there mum and dad bought it for em haha
Just plain dubbin

With mine I cut out the ashtray housing from the centre c :embarassed:onsole. I then had a spare lower shelf from underneath the glove box.  I cut a piece the same size as the ashtray housing and 3 holes out of this to mount the gauges and fitted them into where the ashtray was. Looks way better than where the stereo goes and is the same material too.

I then had a spare lower shelf from underneath the glove box.  I cut a piece the same size as the ashtray housing and 3 holes out of this to mount the gauges and fitted them into where the ashtray was. Looks way better than where the stereo goes and is the same material too.

need pictures!!

seen them mounted into a Electric Window unit where the switches go... OK as long as you don't have leccy windows!!

I've been bidding on a votex unit and they are asking silly money for them @ most dont come with the leccy window panels which I've seen one sold on ebay for £176.00

Yeah there too much money and yes I've got electro windows so not sure what to do really I've got a genuine Sterio blank but do I cut it up ???

I've seen the swg do a copy of the votex console 60 odd quid but don't no if it will Mach

The SWG unit is SH1T.... Don't buy one...

The SWG Gauge Din holder is good & would save you cutting up the blank!
