Hi. Not been on here but used to be on the mk4 section. I have gone back to my first love ofna mk2. I am currently doing a few jobs and removed most of the lower dash and gubbins to replace heater matrix and sort out the sound roofing and carpet. One of my other jobs was to check an issue with a dim headlight. I stupidlynused a switch of a 90 spec car (mines an 87) which caused one of the brown wires to combust it also cause damage to another. Fortunately thisbwas it. Whilst clearing away the debris i found in amongst the cables a thick brown wire that was cut but i don't know where it goes ( wasn't cut byme). Know to the point. Does anyone know a good auto eltrcican who is mobile in turnaround country. Also while thisbisnall out any suggestions on a good immobiliser.
