JOM Suspension?
« on: 20 May 2012, 20:44 »
eBay item number  400272005213

Anybody have any experience with these? Are they any good or can someone recommend me a nice shocks and suspension kit that lowers 40mm and isn't too expensive?

I have them on my vr6, they are a bit "bouncy" but ok. One thing to note with them, when you install them make sure you lube up the treads and try to keep the fixers lubed too, also the fixers become brital after some time, this isn't covered under the warranty!

My advise... Spend the extra money one Kw's or some other brand!

I had some front budget coilovers on my ratty mk1 caddy and they were fine for that but the Koni stainless coilovers I have on my mk2 golf are much better and they have adjustable damping. Generally you get what you pay for, if you buy cheap you buy twice! I would save and wait until you can afford something better if you plan on keeping the car for a while. As already said, whatever coilovers you go for, even KW v3's etc grease up the threads.

im looking for a spring and shock kit rather than coilovers mate, as I am not bothered about having adjustable suspension or going super low. Only want a drop of 40mm
