Haha not too worried about the fuel as it will prob do the same as the golf it's more the insuring and taxing side of it. Over 3 years I would b looking at close to 3k to insure it and nearly £800 to tax it. That's nearly £4 just to keep it on the road. This way I get a brand new car, get it serviced for 5 years, £30 of tax after the first year, £500 to insure. Win win

Edit: sorry forgot to say the main reason I went for this model/ spec was because of the dsg box. Looked at the rest of the vag range and this seemed to b best of both worlds
