Part number please...
« on: 19 May 2012, 19:32 »
Does anyone know what the part numbers and price are for the front O/S and N/S seatbelt pretensioner?

Got some Anni seatbelts, bought off here, but the pretensioners need replacing before I can get about fitting them :undecided:

Cheers guys

Got me beat on vagcat.  I can find the wiring loom and the belts, but not the pretensioner listed separately.  Lists it as a complete belt unit ie "1J3857705S JNZ" in black/red (anni) and even thats a left hand drive one.... soz  :undecided:
There's dozens of variants depending on the airbag configuration, so be careful which one you get to not compromise the safety features of the car.

Have the belts been fired in a collision then?  Is it even available as a separate unit?  Should the belts not be disposed of when the pretensioner has fired?

Whatever you do mind you observe the fitting procedure, unplug the battery (!) etc  :nerd:

Cheers for looking for me

I literally have no idea, but I thought it was a case of 'replacing' the pretensioner and fitting some Anni belts to my car! :undecided: I hope it is that simple, because they look awesome!!

My first plan was to find out how much a pretensioner was (if you can get them) n then fit them. Option two was to buy some front belts off ebay, n then take the pretensioners out of them (again, I don't know if it's this simple??? :embarassed:)

I agree with Mr_orange i was always under the impression that if pretensioner has fired you replace them - im not 100% on that though!
