Well i am finally back on the forum at last. I havent been able to get on due some unforseen family problem. All is well now though and i have got the modding bug again lol.
Still got my mk4 and still very much enjoying it.
As you all know before i went off the forum i was in the middle of getting my hybrid turbo fitted / mapped. All the work is now complete and i also paid a visit to Nick at R-tech. :afro:
First off like to say a HUGE thankyou to nick for the custom mapping session and getting it all sorted for me :afro: .  Was a great day and was nice to see Nick. Ben also popped his head in and had a chat with him lol. As usual service was second to none and i was really pleased with the service i recieved. Well worth the 3 hour drive.
After the injectors where fitted and car was mapped managed to get 245bhp out of the golf. Nick Said the actuator spring seems a little weak. Strange as it has the yellow spring in the actuator. He said i might need the blue spring in my actuator as he recently mapped a golf with a  CR Hybrid Turbo like mine and it had the blue spring in and made 270bhp.
After all the mapping was done nick took me out ( big smiles ). He said what it is boosting and holding boost at, if it done that on the rollers it  would be producing 260bhp.  Nick said let the turbo bed in a little bit and return to R-tech in summer and have the blue spring fitted and see if he  can get some more power from it lol .

Yerh i am super pleased with the results TBH. Think my car was at 225bhp ish before dont know as went down to r-tech with my new turbo bolted on. So couldnt give it a before go on rollers as hybrid was already fitted lol

yeh it is fun lol nick said its around 260bhp with wot it is boosting and holding at lol sum where between 245bhp and 260bhp will do me well till summer anyway  :evil:
